Hi I'm Kit!

Hi I'm Kit Thwaites, a recent university graduate, granola addict, and founder of Bedwin Bakes!

After finishing my university finals I, like many, turned to baking and creating to keep me from too much lockdown languish!

I have always loved granola, but only recently during lockdown did I start to make it myself, trying out recipes with low sugar content and healthy ingredients. After learning of the Metre Market in Cookham Dean, which started at the end of June, I decided to try my hand at selling my granola! I designed the logo and packaging in a week and started selling at the beginning of July. After a successful month at the market I am now looking to expand to other local markets in the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire area, as well as small shops and cafes.

Bedwin Bakes uses wholesome, high-quality and natural ingredients, and nothing more, to create its delicious granola, and will soon be expanding the range to other delicious goods!

I create, bake, and package all of the Bedwin Bakes products in my home in Cookham Dean (much to my mum's dismay...)!

All the packaging is resealable, refillable and recyclable.

The Metre Market

Every Friday from 8:30am - 1:00pm, the Cookham Dean Village Hall hosts a food market. All the stall holders are local suppliers offering quality produce.

Check out their website to see what is on offer this week!
